WE ARE SOLVENTLESS
When creating cannabis concentrates, there are two basic methods for extraction: solvent-based, and solventless.
Solvent-based extracts require hazardous chemicals like butane and ethanol to pull active THC content out of the plant.
Solventless extraction uses only chilled water, in combination with heat and pressure, to distill a full range of cannabinoids, and terpenes from frozen, high-quality flower. This result is called hash or hashish.
WHY IT MATTERS
Solventless extraction is more labor intensive, requires a higher-quality plant to start and produces less yield when compared to solvent-based methods.
But it produces a cleaner, more natural, better-tasting product without residual contaminations. Retaining the plant's full-spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes for more flavor and aroma, solventless extracts also enhance therapeutic benefits through the entourage effect.
